This kit is used in vitro to determine the amount of creatinine (CREA) in human serum, plasma, or urine. Plasma creatinine concentration reflects renal function such as renal damage, glomerular filtration rate, urinary tract patency, etc., and is a more specific renal function index than urea and uric acid. Elevated creatinine: creatinine is often low in the early stages of kidney disease until the renal parenchymal damage increases. A 3- to 5-fold increase in value suggests a 10-fold increase in uremia, which is common in uremia. If creatinine and urea nitrogen are elevated at the same time, severe renal damage is indicated, and if urea nitrogen is elevated and creatinine is not high, it is often due to extrarenal factors. Decreased creatinine: advanced renal failure, muscular atrophy, poor blood, leukemia, diabetes insipidus, etc.

Storage conditions and expiration date: 

Unopened reagents are stored at 2~8°C and valid for 12 months; reagents are stored in 2~8°C without light after opening, and are valid for 1 month without contamination; reagents cannot be freeze-thawed repeatedly.

Sample Requirements:

1. Serum, plasma. 2. Stability: 2 ~ 8 °C storage can be stable for 1 week, -20 °C can be stable for 1 month.
